We are so excited to have re-opend in 2021 with some amazing productions. Our first and foremost thought at ECP has always been the health and safety of all those involved in, and visiting, productions. We learn more each and every day about how to navigate a theatre in the midst of pandemic. We continue to monitor the CDC website, and our local numbers, for guidelines and recommendations. As such, we are excited to say that we have opened more seating for the 2022 season productions. We will still have some spaced seating available for those who would feel more comfortable with social distancing (please see diagram of blocked seats). We are also requesting that those visiting the theatre wear a mask.

Due to the ongoing Covid-19 Pandemic, we will be requiring all actors to show proof of your Covid-19 Vaccine. This is for the health and safety of all those involved with and visiting ECP. Thank you for your understanding!

UPCOMING EVENTS

Electric City Playhouse is excited to perform The Miraculous Journey of Edward Tulane, January 21-30, 2022. It is always fun to see a children’s story come to life on the stage. As part of our mission at the theatre, we are always excited to open the door to children and their families and create educational opportunities, both on- and off-stage.

In an effort to do so, we have created three lesson plans that can be used as part of a novel study of the chapter book written by Kate Dicamillo. These were created by one of our ECP volunteers who is a certified educator. Each lesson references corresponding South Carolina State Standards at the intended grade levels. We hope you enjoy the story and that you will join us live to watch one of the six performances at the end of the month.
