A letter from our Board President:
Dear ECP Patrons,
We hope that all are staying safe and remaining well during these trying days.
The Board of Directors has been working diligently to stay abreast of the latest developments with regard to the way that the virus spreads, recommendations from the CDC, and reopening guidelines from the national and state levels.
With the health and safety of all our primary concern, we previously announced postponement of Jerry’s Girls and cancelled Summer Camp. We have now made the decision to cancel the remaining three shows of the 2020 regular season. We are putting our energies into developing the 2021 Season, ensuring the theatre is in tip top shape when reopening, and considering alternative entertainment should we be allowed to open for part of the remaining months of this calendar year. If you have any questions, comments, or concerns please contact me at email@example.com.
If you are a season ticket holder, you have a $36 credit for the remainder of the year. Please email or call Dana to let her know which option you prefer for handling this credit.
1. Donate my credit to ECP to help with the necessary expenses while the theatre is dark
2. Apply my credit to the 2021 Season of Shows
3. Request a refund
If you have a ticket(s) and are not a season ticket holder, please email or call Dana to let her know which option you prefer for handling your credit.
1. Donate the price of the ticket(s) to ECP to help with the necessary expenses while the theatre is dark
2. Request a refund of the ticket price
Dana can be reached at: firstname.lastname@example.org or 864-224-4248
As we move forward and plan for reopening, we are seeking input from you. We ask that you would pause and respond to a brief (about 1 minute of your time) survey regarding reopening and what that may look like until this virus is under control and it is safe to resume activities. A quick reminder: The CDC recommends the wearing of a cloth covering when out in public. ECP volunteers have been making cloth face masks. These are free and available to any who need them. A donation to the theatre would be greatly appreciated, but not necessary. To make arrangements to pick up face masks contact me at email@example.com.
Thank you for caring about community theatre and we look forward to hearing from you,
Sharon Schultz, 2020 ECP Board President
For the safety and security of our children, we had to cancel camp for 2020. As we continue to post Education, Creativity, Playtime activities and talk with folks about alternative entertainment once we know that it is safe to open the theater, we met Tim Sonefelt, local magician.
We’ve partnered with him at Upstate Magic Academy for a unique opportunity for children and youth. Tim conducts performance based virtual camp experiences for kids age 7-13. He is offering an additional free bonus just for our ECP families.
At Upstate Magic Academy, we’ve been providing virtual magic camps since mid-March and have streamlined the virtual camp experience. That’s allowing us to offer a truly unique camp opportunity for YOU this summer! Our camps fees are reduced but still include all the amazing materials that typically are included with our in-person camps! It’s an amazing and fun way to learn not just magic but important social and life skills!
Even though this is online, SPACE IS LIMITED to enhance the interactive experience for each student, so register right away! You can register directly on Upstate Magic Academy’s website: http://upstatemagicacademy.com/
We have several online sessions to choose from (each one teaches 100% different magic) and the first one starts June 8. We’ve extended the registration deadline just for ECP families!
Once you register, we will arrange pick up / delivery of your students AMAZING materials pack. Then you’ll receive a special email with information about how to get the Zoom app (if you don’t already have it) and get into the meeting (it’s super-easy!).
That’s it, and you’ll be all set for the fun and learning!
Remember, space is limited! Register today at: http://upstatemagicacademy.com/
Thank You 2020 Sponsors!
